Brain waves transformed into music

Ever wonder what it sounds like when I play piano?  It sounds a lot like when researchers from China used EEG and fMRI to turn the brain’s electrical impulses and blood flow measurements into music. I don’t know what the subjects were asked to do or think about in these recordings…but the idea is to one day use the music created like this to help treat patients w. anxiety or depression control their own brain waves…but listening to this just annoyed me. Interesting. But annoying.

A new kind of aleatoric - perhaps the mother of all aleatoric music. Meta-aleatoric, if you will.
