Harvard scientists reverse the ageing process in mice – now for humans

Harvard scientists were surprised that they saw a dramatic reversal, not just a slowing down, of the aging in mice. Now they believe they might be able to regenerate human organs.

More realistically re:humans, this is a key component not a done deal. Trials on humans is years aways obviously and if the researcher is correct and in theory it would work best will in children to avoid the cancer risk…well, IRB protocols with kids are tricky (longitudinal ideally). I’d say the major step would be removing the senescent cells.  Then you get the anti-aging without the cancer risk, isn’t that where you win?  They didn’t mention what areas the neurons were recruited, I’d be interested in that.
